Rebel Wisdom Digital Campfire Sessions

We have several regular calls, and many special one-off events. Some are oriented towards discussing cultural topics, others are more focused on developing skills around leadership, facilitation or communication.

Explorer Members are welcome to most of the official Digital Campfire calls, and Sensemakers are also invited to all, including our regular Wednesday sessions, the Q&A and Wisdom Gym.

Live Sensemaking!
(Explorers & Sensemakers)

(Monday: 8pm UK / 3pm EST / 12pm PST)

On this call we discuss a current cultural or political topic, using many of the skills we talk about on the channel, such as mindfulness, curiosity and the pursuit of multiple perspectives. It is an exercise to make sense of a topic together, and meet others at a deeper level than the purely intellectual.

Academy Sessions
(Explorers & Sensemakers)

(Usually Tues/Thurs - 8pm UK / 3pm EST / 12pm PST)

Our Academy Sessions are all about developing the skills we talk about on the channel. Once or twice per week we welcome a skilled facilitator to teach skills of leadership, facilitation and communication. These Academy sessions are designed to help our members increase their skills, develop emotional intelligence and to be more comfortable leading their own sessions.

Dialogue and Disagreement Lab with Jason Digges

4TH / 18TH JANUARY & 1ST/15TH FEBRUARY

Authentic relating is a set of practical teachings that's most often used to help us develop our relational and social awareness. In these sessions, we'll see how it can also give us tools we can use to navigate cultural and political hot topics. The 4 classes will cover an array of foundational relationship skills and explore how we can apply them to the world around us.

Power Dynamics with Trish Blain

7th/21st January & 4th/18th february

Power and power dynamics are often avoided or ignored even though they show up at every level of social interaction. In this series, we will explore how embracing and working with power dynamics can break open new possibilities, deepen our relationships and expand our sensemaking abilities.

Exploring Emergence with Pamela von Sabljar

12th/26th january & 9th/23rd february

Emergence is a concept from systems theory that has become increasingly popular as we grapple with exponential uncertainty. It's the idea that people (and systems) become more than the sum of their parts when they interact as part of a wider whole. These sessions explore how to create the conditions for emergence, and how to navigate it skilfully.

Sensemaker Q&A
(Sensemakers only)

(Wednesday: 8pm UK / 3pm EST / 12pm PST)

Every two weeks we hold a Q&A with one of the stars from our films (past guests include the likes of John Vervaeke, Nora Bateson, Douglas Rushkoff, Jamie Wheal & Iain McGilchrist).

All Sensemakers can submit questions for our interviewees, both before and during the sessions.

Wisdom Gym
(Sensemakers only)

(Wednesday: 8pm UK / 3pm EST / 12pm PST)

Our Wisdom Gym is a fortnightly call where we learn and practice some of the skills and practices we talk about on the channel, with some of the biggest names in facilitation, future confirmed guests include Gabor Mate and Peter Levine (Somatic Experiencing).
